Kayak route Vecslocene – Slokas ezers – Vecslocene (1 day 10-12 km)

The river Vecslocene is interesting for water tourists because it flows through a swamp and one of its parts flows through the Kemeri National Park. Travelling on river Vecslocene you can observe the wetlands, that cannot be reached on foot.

It’s recommended to do this route in the spring or autumn, when there are less insects and weeds. In summer time the route becomes a survival adventure in the jungle, which might suit those seeking adventures, as it is by no means a relaxing canoeing or kayaking trip for the family.
